The advertising brochure exclaimed that we could face a certain disease with confidence if we used their services. I am certain that is true. However, most of us need some interior confidence too. Let these verses from the NIV Bible encourage you:
Do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. (Hebrews 10:35 , NIV)
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:16, NIV)
So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6, NIV)
Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1, NIV)
