From Children’s Ears

“…We three kings of porridge afar…”

“…Noel, noel, Barney’s the king of Israel…”

“…Hock the hair- old angels sing…”

“…Sleep in heavenly peas…”

“…Oh come, Froggy faithful…”

“…With the jellied toast proclaim…”

The little ones can be forgiven for their listening errors but as adults, we are expected to pay closer attention.

“Listen carefully to everything I tell you. Don’t pay attention to other gods—don’t so much as mention their names. (Exodus 23:13, MSG)

But they didn’t pay any attention. They kept doing what they’d always done. As it turned out, all the time these people were putting on a front of worshiping God, they were at the same time involved with their local idols. ( 2 Kings 17:40-41, MSG)

Prayer – Lord, may our ears hear what you are really saying to us. Amen
