Full Halls or Full Hearts

People often apologize when the tickets were not a sellout. They apologize to the speaker for a small crowd. But a godly speaker knows that it is much more blessed to fill a heart than a hall.

What fills your heart??

You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. (Matthew 12:34, NIV)

This is the evil in everything that happens under the sun: The same destiny overtakes all. The hearts of people, moreover, are full of evil and there is madness in their hearts while they live, and afterward they join the dead. (Ecclesiastes 9:23, NIV)

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. (Luke 6:45, NIV)

And may your hearts be fully committed to the Lord our God, to live by his decrees and obey his commands, as at this time.”(1 Kings 8:61, NIV)

For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. (2 Chronicles 16:9, NIV)

Prayer- Lord, fill our hearts with everything holy and good that we might never disappoint you. Amen.
