Begging your pardon, but this devotional is a little ‘corny.’
Still, it holds great truth.
We may not like to dig in the dirt, but we all can apply this type of gardening to our own lives.
Plant three rows of peas; peace of mind, heart and soul.
Plant four types of squash; squash gossip, indifference, grumbling and selfishness.
You will need four kinds of lettuce. Let us be faithful, kind, patience and love.
Of course, you will want to turn up for service and to help one another.
Thyme is essential. Thyme for each other, family and friends.
Sow righteousness, reap unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, until he comes and showers his righteousness on you.
(From Hosea 10:12, NIV)
