Romans 5:1a– Therefore, since we are justified, acquitted, declared righteous—-and given a right standing with God through faith, let us grasp the fact that we have the peace of reconciliation to hold, and to enjoy—peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One. (AMP)
GRASP THE FACT
Grasp the fact. It’s over!
We are justified/ acquitted.
We have right-standing with our God,
If Jesus we’ve admitted
Into our heart and life and soul,
Into our very being.
So proceed in faith with joy and trust,
Even though not seeing!

Prayer: Dear Lord, sometimes we feel like trout, dangling on a hook, trying to get back to the safe waters we know, forgetting that You have us already, safe and on solid ground. Oh, Lord, help us reach beyond our safety zone, and settle ourselves on Your firm rock of salvation. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
