Half Full or Half Empty

A nay-sayer sees everything through negative eyes, mind and opinion.

A pessimist says it can’t be done and the optimist already has a plan for success.

Do we ever listen to our own selves? What kind of voice do we use? Is it negative and demeaning for encouraging and bright with ideas?

Winston Churchill kept England afloat during the war. His never-give-up voice cheered his people. He said this about attitudes.

Did you hear that, friends? If we love Jesus, we are positive people!

Even on our worst day, the joy of the Lord is still our underlying strength.

And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold. (Nehemiah 8:10b)

Always remember that no matter your life today, weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5b)
