Jesus needed quiet time and prayer so he got up early, and found a quiet spot to pray. (Mark 1:35, AMP)
However, Peter had big plans for Jesus and they did not include time-wasters like rest.

The Peters of life are lovely but only in small doses. They are rash, impetuous and compulsive…
They throw themselves into the deep end. (John 21:7) They strike with little thought of consequences. (John 18:11)…but when Jesus gets a hold on them…
Prayer- Lord, may the Peter in us grasp onto you with all our might for you are the Christ. (Mark 8:29) Amen.
