Hebrews 4:12-13– God means what he says. What he says goes. His word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey. Nothing and no one is impervious to God’s Word. We can’t get away from it no matter what. (MSG)
For ten days, as people went about their business in our local mall, 450 people read Bible into their lives. The Canadian Bible Society and our local churches organized and carried out Proclamation Barrie, a reading aloud of the complete Word of God. Many heard about God’s love for the first time. When King Josiah’s people did the same thing years ago, their city and their people made radical life changes.
2 Kings 23:21-the king commanded that the people keep the Passover just as it was written. (AMP)
Most of us will not get to get to Haiti, Africa, China or some other faraway place as missionaries. We do, however, have wonderful missionary opportunities in our own back yard. Take a stand for God right here.
Philippians 2:4– If you have a heart, if you care, than do me a favor. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand. (MSG)
