How Does This Apply to Me?

I hope these devotionals aren’t just a casual read for you but a tiny life-changing moment. You see, we are changed from glory to glory, from precept to precept, little by little, one small step at a time. That being said, how do slave-freer Harriet Tubman’s words apply to us?

“I had reasoned this out in my mind, there was one of two things I had a right to, liberty or death; if I could not have one, I would have the other.”

“I freed a thousand slaves. I could have freed a thousand more, if only they knew they were slaves.”

“But to this solemn resolution I came; I was free, and they should be free also; I would make a home for them in the North, and the Lord helping me, I would bring them all there. Oh, how I prayed then, lying all alone on de cold, damp ground; 'Oh, dear Lord,' I said, 'I ain't got no friend but you. Come to my help, Lord, for I'm in trouble!'”

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. (Luke 16:10, KJV)

Prayer- Lord, help us make the small everyday changes that give big results in our lives. Amen.
