Our son came home from church camp on August 8, convinced that God wanted him in Bible College. Who can get accepted, get ready, and go to Bible College in three weeks? You would be surprised.
Within those three weeks, we filled out and sent all the forms, applied for scholarships, and worried about money. We asked the college for an extension and they said, “If money is all that’s holding him back, we think that you should pull out all the stops and get him here.”
We made hard-to-get medical appointments. Government grants fell into place and off he went to Bible College.
This is the lesson.
If money is all that’s holding you back, pull out all the stops and get there.
“You can’t worship two gods at once. Loving one god, you’ll end up hating the other. Adoration of one feeds contempt for the other. You can’t worship both God and money both.

Prayer – Lord, give us the courage to choose you, no matter what the state of our money might be. Amen
