The phrase ‘in him’ floods the New Testament with over twenty ‘in him’ verses in Ephesians alone. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what that means.
If I stand in my kitchen, I stand completely in my kitchen. None of me stands in the living room.
If I attend the theatre, I am completely in the theatre. My torso is not on the parking lot.
I do not leave my torso outside the building. If I am in Christ, I am all in.
Let’s not be the kind of folks who halfway commit to real life in Christ.
Everything is accomplished ‘in him’ and the ‘him’ is Christ. The true transformation the world will come only through Christ.
True transformation in each of us comes only through our ‘in him’ relationship
This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. (Romans 3:22, NIV)
