In Terrible Times

Yes, we will have terrible times that DAZE us deeply. We may not be able to choose what happens to us, but we can choose our reaction to it.

Don’t lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint. (Galatians 6:9, AMPC)

Remember the great song from the musical, Fiddler on The Roof? (L’chaim! To Life!) Choose life! Every choice leads to either life or death.

Mickey Mantle said, “If I knew I was going to live this long I’d have taken better care of myself.”

You too can choose real life. It’s a simple matter of believing that Christ died for your sins and rose from the dead, then asking him to forgive your sins, and come into your life.

God has a purpose for our lives and it is not sitting on a shelf waiting to die. There is no unemployment in God’s kingdom. Some of us have been growing old when all God wants us to do is to GROW UP.
