Just For Today

Just for today, love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind. (From Mark 12:30)

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Matthew 6:33-34, KJV)

Hang on. Tomorrow is coming soon. Just for today, we can be all we can be. Just for today, trust God to do what he will. Just for today…just for today. A measly twenty-four hours. Think about it. We sleep for about eight hours. That only leaves sixteen.  We’re at work for another eight. Now we only have eight hours to worry about hanging on… We can do it. Yes we can because we are God followers.

Prayer- Father God, help us hang on minute by minute. Amen.
