What are your strengths? Do you speak well? Know how to fix things? Are you a compassionate listener or do you bake a fine pie?
While we think these are our strengths they really are not. Our real strength happens when we choose the Lord as our refuge and dwelling.
If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you; no disaster will come near your tent. (Psalm 91:9-10, NIV)
You might well ask how God makes that happen. Well, get ready for this! He commands angels to guard us and lift us up in their hands!
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone! (Psalm 91:11-12, NIV)
Oh, do you really realize what loving and serving God really means? Grasp the truth of his care and comfort and protection and bask in his goodness!
Prayer- Father, show us yourself in new ways as we learn on you more and more for your protection and your love. Amen.
