Philippians 4:12, 13– I know what it is to be in need and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through Him who gives me strength (NIV).
Quite a statement! Let’s run it past our lives to see if we have learned the same lessons as the apostle Paul. If we are not content, why aren’t we? There’s room for your notes!
Lord you have supplied my needs and given me plenty.
I am contented, whether I’m hungry or full, in plenty or want.
I can do all things through you, because you give me strength.
Because you live in my heart I am content in every situation.
