Life Attacked with Prayer

Trouble Prayer

Take my side, God—I’m getting kicked around, stomped on every day.

 Not a day goes by but somebody beats me up. 

They make it their duty to beat me up. (Psalm 56:1-2)

Scripture Answer

When I get really afraid, I come to you in trust. 

 I’m proud to praise God; fearless now, I trust in God.

Promise:

Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains be shaken into the midst of the seas. 

Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling and tumult.  Selah that is, pause, and calmly think of that! (Psalm 46:2, 3)
