Light Up

Some folks keep their Christmas trees up all year, but only when the power is turned on, do they actually light up.  That’s us!

Matthew 5:14 – “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Colossians 2:13-14 -And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.

1 Corinthians 3:16 -Do you not know that you are God’s temple and God’s Spirit dwells in you?

Galatians 4:6-7 -And because you are sons, (and daughters) God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” So, you are no longer a slave, but a son, (daughter)and if a son, (daughter) then an heir through God.

Proverbs 3:5-6 -Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Romans 8:1 -There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

John 1:12-13 -But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Zephaniah 3:17 -The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

Friends, how can we reject such a great love as this? Turn your eyes upon Jesus.
