Recently someone discovered out that the bottom of Lake Superior's Chequamegon Bay near Bayfield, Wisconsin is coated with logs. Nearly a century ago, these logs waterlogged and sunk on their way to local sawmills. We think of loggers with chainsaws and axes but here they work with diving outfits and airbags.
While the wood varies every where from white and red pine to bird's-eye (sugar) maple, they are of such magnificent quality that even lumberman legend, Paul Bunyan would want in.
Paul, (the saint) communicated with pen and paper but like Bunyan, he’d move into the 20th century, logging on to share the Gospel. After all, he lived to preach the Gospel. He’d see the advantage of an email address and a blog.
Romans 1:14b-16-That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome. For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile (NIV).
Prayer: Lord, help us to log on with enthusiasm, using any way possible to share the Christ and win souls. Amen.
