Misunderstood

I was on the hunt for a new Bible and the bookshelves overwhelmed me. What version to read? What version to read? Some would say we must only stick to the King James for it is the only ‘true’ translation.

However, long before the King James Version, a man named Jerome translated much of the Bible from its original language into Latin. And even he based some of his work on earlier translations.

What does that mean for us today? Wouldn’t it be better to look at how Bible readers live, rather than what version they read?

"Don't worry that children never listen to you; worry that they are always watching you."–Robert Fulghum

Prayer- Lord, point out inconsistencies between what we read and what we do… then pour your grace upon the changes we need to make. Amen….
