Never Enough

God made platypus, reindeer and crow.

He orchestrated where they should go.

He joyfully created Adam and Eve

but found next it was slacks, hats and sleeves.

As much as they had they wanted more.

First it was house, then a door.

Water in lake was too far

So plumbing and then a new car

Bigger house, better job, on it went

Even when Christ was then sent

They whined, asked for more.

Not knowing the score

That satisfied is what we should be

After all, salvation is free.

(Brenda J Wood 2019)

What is your enough?

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:34, NIV)
