One Way In

When four men couldn’t get their friend to Jesus they lowered him through a roof top and this is what happened. (Luke 2)

And when Jesus saw their faith [their confidence in God through Him], He said to the paralyzed man, Son, your sins are forgiven [you] and put away [that is, the penalty is remitted, the sense of guilt removed, and you are made upright and in right standing with God]. (Luke 2:5, AMP)

Did you catch that line? Let me repeat it here—And when Jesus saw their faith [their confidence in God through Him]—Do you see it? Do you see it? They believed that the one way to God was through Jesus, unlike the Nazareth crowd in Mark 6:3 who took offense at Jesus and disapproved of him!

There is one way to God and you may hate that idea, spurn it, toss it out of your brain, but that does not change the truth.

Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me. (John 14:6, AMP)

Prayer – Lord, open our eyes to the truth and help us live it that others might find you also. Amen
