Poetry of Life

Moses stuttered,
Hearts fluttered;
Job lost cash,
Noah’s drinking bash;

Isaiah preached naked,
Peter got bated;
Lazarus was dead,
Disciples were a’ bed.

Zacharias too tiny;
Israelites whiny.
Abraham too old,
Sampson too bold.

Martha worried,
Jonah scurried.
Jacob lied.
Naomi cried.

And you think God can’t use you because…?

And then I heard the voice of the Master: “Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?”
I spoke up. “I’ll go. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8, MSG)

Prayer- In the strange changes of today Lord, show us how to serve you with joy. Amen.
