Prayer Words

My friend has taken to forming her prayers into a memory word. Let me give you an example. Here is one I set up for myself. You must know by now that I am always watching my weight.

This is my short form of prayer when I am in the company of desserts. I say the word F-A-T

This stands for
F-Faith
A-Action
T-Time

Faith that God will give me strength, that I need to take positive action and that all weight loss takes time and it matters what I do right now in this time.

Suppose your problem is fear. Figure out a way to meet it in prayer. Make prayer like this. Fear= false evidence appearing real.
That way we can say our problem but make it mean something else.

Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. (Romans 10:13-17, NIV)

Prayer- Lord, give us the right words to hang on in the midst of whatever. Amen.
