Having trouble making time to prayer? Feel awkward as you do? Set a prayer date with yourself. That’s the best way to meet with God. Determine your meeting place. Pray about the same time every day. Write down things that come to mind. Some even call this journaling!
If you have trouble concentrating, pray out loud. God doesn’t care if your prayers are short and sweet. Sing, meditate, think, question and even answer God back.
There now, all you have to do is …do it.
Rejoice and exult in hope; be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation; be constant in prayer. (Romans 12:12, AMP)
After all, God wants to answer our prayers in a big way, but first we have to pray them.
Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]—(Ephesians 3:20, AMP)
Prayer: Lord, we are praying. Hear our prayer. In Christ’s name. Amen.
