Praying for Answers

When my friend ranted this comment… “Stop telling me to pray and give me a solution.”  I gave the only true answer that I could give. “Prayer is the answer.” Sadly, I don’t think she appreciated it or acted on that advice.

Prayer strengthens our relationship with God but also it means we won’t lose heart. (Luke 18:1) It’s for our own good! Prayer teaches us to depend on God and brings us great peace. Is it possible that the when of God’s actions stir into motion when we pray?

Yes, God knows what we need before we pray but in Matthew 6:8, he still tells us to pray.

 Pray, therefore, like this:

Prayer- Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13, KJV)
