Praying His Will

After their last Passover together, Jesus heads for one of his favourite places, the Mount of Olives, and the disciples follow him.

He gives them clear directions, twice.

And when He came to the place, He said to them, pray that you may not [at all] enter into temptation. (Luke 22:40, AMP)

And He said to them, why do you sleep? Get up and pray that you may not enter [at all] into temptation. (Luke 22:46, AMP)

You see, Jesus had already prayed for them; (32-33) now he is saying, it is your turn to pray. My prayers sustained. You know my will. I told you what you needed. I prayed for that need… now you need to agree with me in that prayer.

Prayer – Father, may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen
