Pure of Heart

What is your favorite cartoon character? I still love Arthur and occasionally watch it on a quiet afternoon.

Why do we watch these reruns when so many other options of violence and mayhem are available? Is it possible that we yearn for a time when every story had a happy ending?

God invites us to live just like that.

He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18:2-4, NIV)

So it’s ok then to live as little children with pure hearts and gentle souls? Count me in!
