Purposeful Prayers

Lord, help me to do what I can, whenever I can and as often as I can. Amen

Even when no one else is listening, Lord, thank you for hearing my pleas. Amen

God you are so good! No matter what is happening around me, you are still good. I praise you because you are God and even better, you are my God! I thank you for being my provider, my encourager, my healer and my deliverer. When I don’t understand my life, I take courage in the fact that you are still at work in my life. I trust you.

Father God, I ask that I be able to help someone today, that I rest peacefully after a fruitful day’s work and that my feeble efforts help to further your kingdom. Amen

God you are my salvation. I will trust and not fear. You, Lord are my strength and my song. You are my salvation. Amen (From Isaiah 12:2)

Lord God, you know exactly what I need, how much I need and when I need it. Thanks. Amen

Lord, give me a reason to laugh out loud today. Amen

Lord, if you kept records of all my wrong doings, I wouldn’t stand a chance. Thank you that forgiveness is who you are and, so I worship you. (Psalm 130:3-4)

Today I am a broken mirror, Lord. Everything around me is going wrong. Please gather up my broken bits. Make me a disco ball that shines out of its brokenness for you. Amen.
