Reasons to Celebrate

Of course, we celebrate Father’s Day in June but there are a few other National holidays you might have missed.

Are you ready for Dare Day, Flip a Coin Day and Doughnut Day which apparently is always on the first Friday of June?
Then there is Hug Your Cat Day, Cheese Day, Old Maid’s Day and do not forget Ball Point Pen Day!

I’m looking forward to Peanut Butter Cookie Day, Corn on the Cob Day, Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Day and Chocolate Ice Cream Day. Of course, I am a foodie and those are my favorites, but you might like Donald Duck Day, VCR Day, Kissing Day and take Your Dog to Work Day.

I don’t have room for the whole list, but you get the idea. Every day has room for a celebration.
Every day we wake up is a day to celebrate and rejoice in life.

Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you’re on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute! (Philippians 4:4-5, MSG)
