Separated

Be careful not to cross-contaminate food. There is that common sense again! Don’t put meats and their juices near other foods in your shopping car. They should be thawed on a plate placed on the bottom rack of the fridge.

Keep your cutting boards clean! Wash in hot soapy water and use one teaspoon of bleach to three cups water as a sanitizer.

For goodness sake do not double dip! Do you see those TV chefs tasting off their spoon and then sticking it back in the pot!! Then they ‘arrange’ every bit of food with their hands and serve it up! EEEEWWW!!

When we know Christ as our personal Saviour, he will ask us to separate ourselves from certain things for our own good. Hopefully we will obey.

You cannot separate fools from their foolishness, even though you grind them like grain with mortar and pestle. (Proverbs 27:22, NLT)

But there is one separation that will never happen, because God promises it.

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. (Romans 8:38, NLT)

Prayer – Lord, thank you that you hold onto us, no matter what! Amen!
