Sigh-ns

When you drink/drug and drive, the police can spot you easily because of common habits like these.

Inebriated people weave all over the road, and drive without lights on. When stopped they are eating strongly flavored foods or chewing gum. They might be driving with the windows open, or lean away from the window, thinking the cop won’t notice their breath. They can’t answer a sensible question.

There are tell-tale signs for the slipping Christian too. Maybe you aren’t in church as much or you are a little snippier than usual. You have stopped tithing. You don’t pray or read your Bible. You don’t care about others.

Oh yes, there are sigh-ns. Hopefully you will see them yourselves and make changes before others speak up.

This is how we’ve come to understand and experience love: Christ sacrificed his life for us. This is why we ought to live sacrificially for our fellow believers, and not just be out for ourselves. (1 John 3:16, AMP)

Prayer – Lord may others see signs of believing in us, not sigh-ns of leaving. Amen
