When I say speak up, I mean speak up. Say the verses out loud, you will hear it, angels will hear it and satan will fear it!
“I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you that you fear mere mortals, human beings who are but grass, (From Isaiah 51:12)
I will not fear though tens of thousands assail me on every side. (From Psalm 3:6)
The Lord your God, as he promised you, will put the terror and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go. (From Deuteronomy 11:25)
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (From Psalm 23:4)
The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? (From Psalm 27:1)
I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.(From Psalm 34:4)
And now my favourite of all of these:
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (From Isaiah 41:10)
Prayer- Lord, help us help ourselves toward freedom by refusing to do what Job did in this verse. What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me. (From Job 3:25) Amen.
