Sticky Noses

Is your nose clogged up in other people’s businesses? Mine used to be oh so stuck. 

I ended up refereeing quarrels and taking sides in discussions that should have made no difference to me.

 Jesus’ advice for such behavior is perfectly clear in any Bible version.

 Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me” (John 21:22b, NIV).

Eventually, I learned to let others work out their own messes. I think they were truly grateful in the long haul!

I took back all that extra time and energy and focused it on my personal walk with him.

 Un-stick your noses, friends and spend your time and energy on Jesus’ life for you.

 Prayer- Lord, Wipe our noses clean with the word of your truth. Amen.
