When I kept silence [before I confessed], my bones wasted away through my groaning all the day long. (Psalm 32:3, AMP)
When I kept it all inside, my bones turned to powder, my words became daylong groans. The pressure never let up; all the juices of my life dried up. (Psalm 32:3, MSG)
No matter how you say it, trying to hide our sin, holding onto anger and unforgiveness affects our bodies. Oh it might take some time but eventually, our guilt does its work. It destroys us from the inside out.
“The pressure never let up; all the juices of my life dried up.” (David in Psalm 32:4, MSG)
Friends we can get out of this mess. The answer is as usual…GOD
Then I let it all out; I said, “I’ll make a clean breast of my failures to God.” Suddenly the pressure was gone—my guilt dissolved, my sin disappeared. (Psalm 32:5, MSG)
Prayer- Lord, we confess to that ………………………………………………. and we accept your forgiveness and health and freedom in the truth. Amen.
