We think we know who said certain quotes but we would be wrong in that. James Cagney never said- You dirty rat and Queen Victoria didn’t say- We are not amused.
Play it again Sam was actually Play it Sam and Humphrey Bogart didn’t say it. Ingrid Bergman did.
And the shadow of disappointment continues. Sherlock Holmes didn’t say Elementary, Dear Watson and horror of horrors, Captain Scott never said Beam me up Scotty, but he did say Beam us up, Mr. Scott.
