Thanksgiving

We might be Hungarian, Chinese, Icelandic or Italian: East Indian, African or Mexican. No matter. Today is Thanksgiving. We are as one.

Do Christians have a common denominator? Of course we all know and believe that Jesus, the Son of God died on the cross to save us from our sins. We recognize that he rose from the dead. That is our basis.

Still, something else sets us apart and makes us visible to those around us.

1 Peter 4:8 – Above all things have intense and unfailing love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins [forgives and disregards the offenses of others] (AMP).

Prayer – God, may we carry Thanksgiving into lives tomorrow and always. Amen
