The Goal

Here are some personal standards when you are preparing to speak, which could be each and every day! You never know when God will give you an opportunity.

Ask yourself, why do I want to share the Gospel with others?

Am I fully prepared as one who lives the life?

Do I have a relationship with Christ?

Have I grown over time into a mature Christian?

Do I believe in and follow the principals of scripture?

Do I live the Christian life in my home, my job, in all my relationships?

Am I willing to learn?

Let your speech at all times be gracious, pleasant and winsome, seasoned as it were with salt, so that you may never be at a loss to know how you ought to answer anyone who puts a question to you].  (Colossians 4:6, AMPC)

Lord, let my conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that I may know how to answer everyone. (Colossians 4:6, NIV)

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart, be pleasing in your sight, Oh   Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14, NIV)

Do you believe this verse and live it??

There’s nothing like the written Word of God for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us. (1 Timothy 3:16, MSG)
