The Who

The Law of Do or the Law of Who; which do you follow? You see, God started with Moses and the Law of Do.

Moses went and told the people all the Lord’s words and laws. (Exodus 24:3 a, NIV)

But when Jesus became flesh and dwelt among us, God gave us the new plan, the Law of Who.

We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved.” (Acts 15:11a, NIV)

Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” (John 6:28-29, NIV)

So give up that old Law of Do and take the gift God offers to all who will believe in his son, Jesus; Jesus, the Who of the Law, now and forever more.

Prayer – Father God, help us move completely out of the old Law of Do into your wonderful gifting, Jesus, the Who of all mankind. Amen
