The Trouble With Christians

The trouble with Christians is that we attack our own. We willingly believe any gossip floating around about our fellow believers.

For instance, did anyone research the lie about Rick Warren and Islam before whispering, gossiping, facebooking and tweeting the story around the world? Nope.

Or the dangers of Eugene Peterson’s Message Bible and the ‘frightening’ list of Christian leaders who dare use it instead of the KJV? Nope.

What about the rumors we pass on about our local Pastors and other Christian leaders? Nope.

Instead, we persevere in destroying the ministry of others. Shame on us.

If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother [in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen.

Prayer- Lord, may neither our mouths nor our computer terminals spread gossip and lies. Amen.
