It's been an interesting year here.
There are many changes going on in my life.
It seems like God is shutting doors on one side of my life, and opening doors on a completely new side……
And, you know what? It's OK. It's all going to be O.K.
Sometimes change is necessary to get us where we need to be.
Sometimes change is good.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
It's been almost a year since my first miscarriage and six months since my second.
Exodus 15:2: “The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him.”
Where others have failed us, where needs were not met, where we can not comprehend and where others misunderstand…God is here, He loves us and He meets our needs.
God, thank you for meeting my needs.
Psalms 28:6-7 “Praise be to the LORD, for he has heard my cry for mercy.
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.
My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.”
I don't understand why all of this happened, but I know God loves me and God is good.
Jeremiah 29:11-14a For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the LORD, “
Changes needed to be made, and sometimes, they're not easy, but sometimes we find life is better on the otherside. God knew what was needed.
It wasn't until I felt I had nothing else to give, that I gave it all,
and He picked me up
and filled me with love,
Thank you Lord for healing me.
Thank you Lord for direction.
Thank you Lord for Hope.
I leave you tonight with the lyrics and sounds of Sidewalk Prophets new song
