Uninformed

“I am stupid.” She moaned. “I don’t know much about that topic and I ask stupid questions.”

Actually this gal answered her own call to stupid with the statement, “I don’t know much about that topic.”

She is not stupid. A stupid person is one who lacks intelligence, perception, or common sense. She suffers from none of those. She is only temporarily uninformed. That can be fixed.

What cannot be fixed is a determined desire to prove yourself right even when you know you’ve made a mistake.

Keep me from stupid sins, from thinking I can take over your work; Then I can start this day sun-washed, scrubbed clean of the grime of sin. (from Psalm 19:12-13, MSG)

People ruin their lives by their own stupidity, so why does God always get blamed? (Proverbs 19:3, MSG)
