Want a Yes?

Seriously, do you want God to answer your prayers? Here is the ‘secret code.”

All of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory. (2 Corinthians 1:20, NLT)

This means that we have to find God’s actual promises and pray them. This is what God himself says about that.

No, I will not break my covenant; I will not take back a single word I said. (Psalm 89:34, NLT)

When God promises eternal life, he means it! Check out 1 John2:25 and he promises to save our children.(Look up Isaiah 49:25.)  God is the god of the impossible! You’ll find that promise in Luke 18:27.

Does your heart’s desire line up with God’s word? If it does, you can ask God to act in that area. Oh by the way- many of the promises have a condition. Be sure to follow through on them.

Prayer – Lord we are taking you at your word. You promised to ____________________  so I’m asking that you will____________________. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
