What does the farmer do when the fruit tree won’t co-operate?
Then he told them a story: “A man had an apple tree planted in his front yard. He came to it expecting to find apples, but there weren’t any. He said to his gardener, ‘What’s going on here? For three years now I’ve come to this tree expecting apples and not one apple have I found. Chop it down! Why waste good ground with it any longer?’(Luke 13:6-7, MSG)
God is a good farmer. He knows what should come out of what tree and he knows what he expects of each of those who claim his Son Jesus as Saviour.
Do you know? Let me help you out. God is growing Christians and he expects us to look and act accordingly. This will get you started.
“Let me give you a new command: Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another. This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each other.” (John 13:34-35, MSG)
Prayer- Lord we cannot do this loving thing without you. Heap it on us Lord. Amen.
