What Are We

So in Exodus 16, the Israelites are complaining (again!) And this is Moses’ answer.

He hears your murmurings against the Lord. For what are we, that you murmur against us? The Lord has heard your grumblings which you murmur against Him; what are we? Your murmurings are not against us, but against the Lord. (Exodus 16:7b, 8b, AMP)

Oh, Oh. It’s God who listens to our grumblings. I don’t think I like the sound of that. On the other hand, I bet God doesn’t like the noise either!

Prayer- Lord, our rock and our redeemer, may the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts be pleasing in your sight. (From Psalm 19:4, NIV) For Christ’s Sake. Amen
