My friend constantly leaves cupboard doors open when she’s working in the kitchen. “My Mother did, my sister does and so do I. We’ve never hit our heads once.” she exclaims.
Me? I left one door open one time and whacked my head good. What are the odds!
Some people don’t believe that Jesus is coming back. I don’t think the odds are in their favour.
“There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” (Luke 21:25-27)
Prayer-Lord, open our eyes to your truth. Amen.
