We get what we pay for but sometimes things are free and we don’t take advantage of it. Some of us worry about ads for free eye exams because we might be pressured to buy glasses. Others hesitate to buy one loaf of bread when the second is offered for free. Surely one must be is stale!
A recent newspaper ad offered Free Love! That was scary till I opened the rest of the paper to discover the wording really was…Free love seat with purchase of sofa!
God freely offers Himself to us, with no catches.
