According to scientists, Mount Everest moved three inches as a result of the earthquake in Nepal. I guess we shouldn’t be surprised. Job 9:5 (NIV) says that God moves mountains without their knowing it and overturns them in his anger.
The trouble is that moved mountains affect people too.
Perhaps you’ve been praying for a mountain to be moved in your life. It is possible.
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20, NIV)
Be sure it is the right prayer… because the changes you pray for will affect everyone around you in ways you might not like.
Prayer – Lord, we just pray today that your will be done… in our lives and the lives of others. Amen
