When Things seem all Wrong

I got new glasses and a few days later, the right lenses fell out.

I returned them to the shop

They ordered a new lens, but it came 3 times thicker than the original.

They returned that one and ordered two new lenses this time.

The glasses came back with bifocals not trifocals.

I wanted to berate the makers but held my tongue.

The owner said, “We are so sorry for this mess.

Let us do something to make up for these problems.

May we give you transition lenses free of charge!”

I wonder what would have happened if I had complained all the way through this fiasco?

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. (Psalm 37:8)
