Why do we cry? Do we really know why? Is it because our lives are now changed forever? Or is it that we fear the future and what it brings? Or is it because of our faith, the fact that others betray our God and walk in a life of misery and regret?
A stream of tears flow from my eyes, for your law is not obeyed. (Psalm 119:136, NIV)
My tears have been my food day and night, while people say to me all day long, “Where is your God?” (Psalm 42:3, NIV)
“This is why I weep and my eyes overflow with tears. No one is near to comfort me, no one to restore my spirit. ( Lamentations 1:16a, NIV)
No matter how you look at it, tea water tea drinking is a lonely sport.
On some of those days we will feel like there is no end to the number of kettles we fill but never fear. A better day is coming.
Prayer- Lord help us keep looking up from that kettle to you. Amen.
