Why Journal

I didn’t know this about my cousin until he passed. If his daughter had not kept track, I still wouldn’t know:

SAB – 106 Squadron 5 – Lancaster Bomber – Bomb Aimer – Shot Down Over Enemy Territory – August 6, 1944 – Evader – 21 Years Old – Lived A Full Life For 91 Years – Thank You Dad XOX  Stefan Bjarnason.

Journals are a wonderful form of self relief. Mine form the basis of many of my books. But look at the bigger picture. We keep track for our generations to come, because unless we tell them, they will never know.

You can blog, scribble, scrapbook or make photo albums, record favourite recipes and their created memories onto a flash drive.

Moses saved the manna.

Moses said, “This is what the Lord has commanded: ‘Take an omer of manna and keep it for the generations to come, so they can see the bread I gave you to eat in the wilderness when I brought you out of Egypt.” (Exodus 16:32, NIV)

I don’t know it that will work now, but what ever method you use, make sure you do something. Do what works for you.

Prayer – Lord give us the courage to record the truth, even if it is only to tell our side of the story. Amen
